Who is She?
Crafty Turtle is a labor of love created by a passionate mother of two, who, while serving full-time as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army, discovered her love for crochet and circular knitting.
Shai is originally from northern California, but has lived in 17 different places in the past 20 years of her career in the military.

Born and raised in California, our compassionate creator has traveled far and wide throughout her military career.
